Ryukyu Culture Site of the Month
Gushikami Gusuku (Gushikami Castle) This Castle was the main center point for the
Gushikami Village. Lord Tamagusuku's 2nd eldest son ruled from the Gushikami
Gusuku. It was first constructed in 12th century, then build on to in later centuries.
The most striking feature of Gushikami is, just like Gushikawa Castle, it was build on
the sea wall of the ocean.
